December Amber Vega 1953-2003 SCHNIBBE, ANNEMARIE - Annemarie Schnibbe of Bridgeport, CT, formerly of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Beloved daughter of Anne F. Schnibbe and the late Robert Schnibbe, Sr., died from complications of liver disease, on December 13, 2003 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Affectionately known as Ammer, she was born in Hastings on March 22, 1953 and was a graduate of St. Matthew's R.C. School and Hastings High School. She attended SUNY Cobbleskill to study conservation. |
For some
years, she was a coordinator for special project allocations grants for
The American Red Cross, Southeastern Connecticut County Chapter, to bring
health and safety into the inner city through education. She arranged and

and train instructors about the need for outreach programs. For her efforts
she received awards from the State of Connecticut and the "Connecticut
Post." Most recently, she coordinated and was active in clothing the

as was her concern for our environment. In addition to her mother, she is
survived by her brothers, Robert, Jr., and Thomas of Hastings; Steven of
Saranac Lake and her sister, Margie of Los Angeles. Also surviving is her
caring and devoted companion of many years, Pedro Vega as well as her nieces
and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hastings Funeral Home,
15 Spring St., Tuesday, December 16, from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Mass of Christian
Burial will be on Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00AM at St. Matthew's Roman
Catholic Church in Hastings. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers,
contributions in Annemarie's memory may be made to the Doris Day Animal
Foundation, 227 Massachuesetts Ave., NE, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20002

December Dear Naomi, John, Phideaux & Bill, First please accept my apologies for this group email but I'm imagining that we're all having coffee together or something... I have limited time as I'm off to LAX in half an hour and it's too early to call. As you may or may not know my sister 's health has been getting worse over the past few months (I'm not sure if I've even mentioned this as I've been in a bit of denial) Although her condition had been stable, she had some kind of sudden attack and was admitted to the ICU a couple of days ago in a very bad state and now is not expected to make it through the day as her liver and kidneys have ceased functioning. Yesterday we were still hopeful for a transplant but her condition is too serious. If you could give me a call at my mother's house sometime in the next few days it would mean a lot to me. I know I will be needing a little sanity/friendly chatter & a bit of help: 914.xxx.xxxx or my cell: 213.xxx.xxxx Trevor and Andy both know some details about the situation. Also I'm sure it would mean a great deal to my mother if you sent her a card. We're all really worried about her. My Mom: xxxx Schnibbe xxxx xxxxx xxxxx, NY 10xxx Although some of us call my sister "Amber Vega," the name my parents gave her is Annemarie. Amber is not religious but she really loves cats. Thanks for Listening xxoo Margie |

Hmm I could swear I've heard "wanker" on BBC America. Certainly not from the lips of Mr. Miller. So I know this whole Santa thing is becoming quite a tradition for me. But what can I say? I'm hooked. After 3 years of the same Stevie Nicks style Xmas suit I'm trying to get a bit more contemporary- I've found some cheap sequined fabric and some shiny stretch velour to work with. . See you at Santacon. Wish me luck on not getting arrested this year. |

Dear
Weekend Warriors My bathroom is kind of zany & I would like to re-tile around the tub, wallpaper (or paint,) carpet, cabinet, etc.. something to make it feel "calmer" and less claustrophobic. I've pasted together a pic for you to get an idea of what it looks like. It's a small room- app. 5ft x 5ft. Margie Schnibbe Silver Lake (323) 906-XXXX |

December Seems we've been rejected from Sundance although I haven't received a formal letter/email yet. Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't lost the registration tags to my new car. What's the connection between one and the other? None unless you were raised Catholic of course. Perhaps I would feel better if I were driving legally...... |

So if you're looking for ra use volvo some things you should know- private parties sell them cheaper than dealers , but generally with a slew of troubles (an no warranty.) Most people don't realize that even if the engine does okay on a compression test all the other tweaks really add up: trannie maintenance, differential, brakes, front end, shocks, starter, alternator etc... I should know after all the money I sunk into my old car. |
