| Yard Sales can be really traumatic unless you happen to be moving and don't really want any of your stuff. Although I did sell a pair of shoes that I happened to be married in, and a wedding present from another marriage, I just couldn't lower the price & thus part with a pretty dress I used to wear when I was depressed and skinny. Perhaps one day I will shed that extra 20 pounds and 4 inches? Then I can wear it again. I do have trouble dieting though unless I'm mentally miserable and puke a lot. So people can be really obnoxius when haggling over cheap items. The people who were nice to me got stuff for cheap/free and people who were assholes were given a hard time. Best sellers were things that were given to me by freinds who couldn't sell them at their own sales. Also emo girl clothes, posters, 25 cent books and porn vids/DVDs. Oh yeah and the whole lot of Interview magazines from the 80's for $16. Even if I did only make $35. it was very nice to chit-chat with friends & neighbors, hang out with Hans and spend a couple of hours relaxing with my paranoid thoughts. My next project is to empty out my house and build a time capsule with all my objects.
