BACKROUND
The year is 2030. Barbara Bush has ascended to the presidency, making her the fifth family member (George, George, Jeb, Jenna) to hold the position of America's Chief Executive.
The thirty-year Campaign of Compassionate Conservatism, along with the War of 2020 resulted in a massive victory for Bush Family Values.
The Bush Cartel dominates the dwindling supply of the world's oil. In the US, BFV regulates every major corporate entity, controls all economic production, education, media and modes of transport. Alcohol, cigarettes, books of fiction and pornography have been outlawed, along with sex for any means not directly related to procreation. Automobile production has long since ceased. Much of the country's raw materials were depleted in the production of satellite weapons of mass destruction in the First War of 2010. Rebels salvage whatever old cars they can find and make them their own.
It is rumored that while an undergraduate at Yale, Barbara Bush slept with a copy of George Orwell's 1984 under her pillow and had committed the text to memory.
Although rebel factions cite Orwell as the author of BB's current ad campaign, all references to social fiction have been denied by the BFV.

DESCRIPTION
